Volunteers are an integral part of Employment for Seniors!   As a non-profit organization, we are growing to meet the needs of individuals 50 and over who are seeking employment in Central Ohio.  For 40 years we have met the needs of thousands of mature job seekers through the dedication and excellent work of our volunteers and staff.

Our volunteers provide a variety of roles, including job counseling, media outreach, communications, fund raising/development and employer relations.  We welcome your interest and hope you will be able to join us in this exciting journey, helping mature job seekers throughout the community.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve others, consider volunteering your time with "Employment for Seniors". Gain the satisfaction of knowing you are helping clients reach their employment potential based on their area of interest and experience. Share your knowledge and skills, as you have fun providing a valuable service.

The main qualification to be a volunteer counselor is that you enjoy working with people.  You also need to be willing to donate one four hour block of time, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. each week (Monday through Friday) as needed by the EFS office. Experience in management or supervision, and in interviewing and working with employees through your own past employment is very helpful.
